The first clinical experience with innovative HOT AXIOS stent in a patient with parapancreatic fluid collection

Fluid collection around pancreas is one of the most frequent remote complications acute pancreatitis which often requires drainage. Drainage can be performed either surgically (with creation cyst-jeuinal anastamosis), transcutaneously or endoscopically. In endoscopic methods endosonogrophic assisted drainage (EUS-guided drainage) with placement metal self-expanding stents widely used. Hot Axios latest state-of the-art innovative used for draining different types fluid collections including infected cysts. This clinical case demonstrates successful under endosonographic guidance.
